Finding ourselves is a lifelong process of evolution. As we change we are invited to confront profound paradoxes: we are asked to be both strong and vulnerable, to embrace not knowing and knowledge, to be stable in the face of instability. When we can embrace both aspects of these paradoxes, and stop rejecting one or the other, we can relax and as if by magic, change alchemises without ‘work’ – effortless effort.
Leo and Kate have come together to offer a day of embodied practice, meditation, breathwork and community. It is a day to be curious, take space, rest, nourish, and be.
Seasonal vegan lunch, teas and snacks will be provided…Yum yum!
This retreat day is primarily for those at some stage of the almighty menopause transition. However, if you are sensitive and interested in personal growth, and are non-binary, gender-fluid, a cis woman or identify as female and not currently touched by menopause, you are welcome too. By nature, menopause brings the non-binary nature of life into relief and we are invited to question held beliefs, challenge fixed identities, shed samskaras, habits that no longer serve us, and evolve towards personal and collective liberation.
This offering comes from the understanding that you are not broken and don’t need fixing, and that given a safe-enough environment you can readily access your own wisdom or intuition. We take great care to set up a clear container with our personal practices along with clear guidelines and agreements with the group. We aim to be responsive to serving the energy and needs of the group and encourage everyone to take responsibility for their process, as far as possible. This includes finding professional support beyond this space if that’s appropriate for you.
Leo and Kate will have copies of their books* to buy, and you are welcome to bring your copies to be signed if you would like that.
