Leo and Kate have come together to offer a two-part, deep dive into embodied practice, meditation, breathwork and community. It is a day to be curious, take space, rest, nourish, and be.
We will explore how you receive? Information, criticism, support, compliments, care… You probably notice that you put up all kinds of resistance to receiving, because you’ve been conditioned to be brilliant at self-sufficiency, giving, deferring attention, getting on with, looking after others… Watch Leo & Kate talkng about receiving on Youtube
So many of us struggle with receiving, and that might feel okay, just about, until it isn’t. Until we’re burnt out. This often coincides with the menopausal transition. When we meet physical or psycho-social challenges where we need to lean in to support, and we need to receive without shame or guilt in order to thrive beyond basic survival patterns.
We will explore, through cognitive and embodied practices, what it is to receive deeply, to surrender. This will be a deep dive, with open heart and trust, where you will be held in community through group and individual practices. From meditative yoga movement, sound, self- and shared massage, exploring consent and boundaries to giving and receiving, as well as therapeutic processes in which we can explore and unravel held beliefs and patterns to find more sustainable ways of interbeing.
Between the two sessions, there will be invitations for personal explorations and listening partnerships to deepen the experience.
