Class changes & retreats coming up
The new term has bought some exciting shifts here at Centred Space.
I’m teaching a retreat in Dalyan, Turkey from 30 September, back in the UK on October 9, so the following classes will not be running:
Hanover Community Centre:
Mondays 30 September & 7 October, Saturday 5 October
Boulder Brighton:
Tuesdays 1 & 8 October
Online @ charlottewattshealth.com:
Wednesdays 2 & 9, and Thursday 4 October
All classes and massage treatments resume on October 10th.
In my absence, do take advantage of the special offers for online yoga, where you can practise pre-recorded and live classes:
www.charlottewattshealth.com use code WH100 for a FREE MONTH
www.heartandbonesyoga.com use code HBLeo for a MONTH for $1.
And if you’re getting massive FOMO, you can come with me to Crete in April or Turkey in September of 2025, where I’ll be teaching yoga in the most beautiful, relaxing settings. Come with!
Summer dates
All in-person classes are paused for the end of August, returning September 7.

A vibrational new treatment
I am delighted to introduce you to a new vibrational treatment that I’m offering as part of my traditional therapeutic Thai massage practice: Tok Sên (hammer energy lines). Gently tapping a tamarind mallet on differently shaped wooden hammers onto the body releases muscle tension and relieves pain. It also improves circulation, promotes healing and energetic balance as well as being deeply relaxing and meditative.
Tok Sên also stimulates the ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) which releases dopamine, oxytocin and endorphins, as well as improving function in parts of the brain involved in social cognition, self awareness and satisfaction.

Pride + Joy
I’m super-excited to be co-hosting a special afternoon retreat as part of Pride month this year, with Lou Thomas. Pride + Joy will be a restive opportunity for the LGBTQIA+ community and their friends and family, to slow down, connect, and rest with yoga and massage.
Venue: Hanover Community Centre
Date: 2-6pm Saturday 9th June 2024
We’re also being supported by the wonderful Bird & Blend teas, who are kindly providing us with delicious Chocolate Digestive tea for the afternoon.
Make it Flow Festival
I’m delighted to be offering a Thai massage workshop at the first ever Make it Flow Festival, on Saturday 24 February, at St George’s Church, Kemptown, Brighton; a day filled with creativity, mindfulness, and inspiration.
The Make it Flow Festival is a unique opportunity to explore the concept of flow and discover new ways to connect. The day is divided into three parts (one in the morning and two in the afternoon), with 10 two-hour workshops happening in each slot.
Once you have bought your ticket, you get to choose up to two craft workshops and one wellbeing session, from over 20 practitioners.
Your day will be bookended with two inspiring keynote talks by artist & disability campaigner Alison Lapper & Times bestselling author of ‘Breath in, Breath out’ and breathwork coach Stuart Sandeman (aka Breathpod!)…
Tickets for the Make it Flow Festival are limited, so make sure to secure yours early. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to awaken your creativity, find your flow, and connect with others.
Welcome to 2023
Whether you’re starting the new year full of intentions, spark and energy or emerging reluctantly from hibernation, I’m looking forward to supporting you back in classes (all levels, all bodies welcome) and for therapeutic Thai massage from Wednesday 4 January.

Summer class changes
As I write this, it looks as if some summer weather may be coming our way (finally!). I hope that you are staying well and in balance despite the ongoing restrictions, anxiety and confusion with the virus. I will be offering most classes as usual throughout the summer holidays with just a few amendments:
July 15: Last Mama & Baby class at Brighton Natural Health Centre. Mama & Baby classes will not be running online or in person throughout the summer.
July 17: No class at the Hanover Community Centre
Aug 18: No pregnancy yoga at Hanover Community Centre
Aug 19: No Evening yoga on Zoom
Aug 20: No class at the Hanover Community Centre
I am also offering limited therapeutic Thai massages so get in touch for your treatment throughout August of for September.
Leo x
With the new half term, just a little more change (nothing dramatic). I am shifting the Thursday online class to 6.30-7.45pm as my kids now have clubs etc to go to and, as you know, I’m all about shifting/responding to make more space!
I hope this isn’t inconvenient for any of you and look forward to seeing you in class.
Of course if you are able and would like to join me in person, I am teaching Mondays 9.30-10.30am at Brighton Natural Health Centre and Mondays 7.30-9pm (also streaming on Zoom) and Saturdays 9.30-11am at the Hanover Community Centre. Get in touch to book. Email
Look forward to seeing you soon, in person or online,
