Learn some basic, accessible Thai massage skills to practice with friends and family. Come with a friend or loved one or prepared to partner with someone on the day (all practices are fully clothed, without oil and you have agency to consent or not at any time).
Set in a cosy yurt at the bottom of Ditchling Beacon, next to an equine rehabilitation centre, the afternoon offers an opportunity to unwind and both give and receive restorative massage. The yurt is warm and cosy, and numbers are limited, so these will be intimate, commmunity events. With a firepit outside, even if it’s cold, we can enjoy a cuppa round the fire afterwards, and even a walk up Ditchling Beacon if you’d like to.
Feedback from Leo’s previous Learn Thai Massage session:
“I was a little nervous about attending this on my own, but Leo put me (and others) very much at ease with warmth and kindness, and the gentle consent-focused atmosphere made me feel welcome and reduced my fear that I’d do it all wrong and/or hurt someone (another worry!). It was great to learn some basic Thai massage techniques that I can use on myself and other people (I’ve had a couple of requests!) and I would be interested in attending a future longer session. Thank you!”
